A just-in-time system for materials distribution has been established by centralizing the control of all data and information concerning orders received and processing steps and also by making full use of an automated warehouse. This saves the space needed for stocking materials and eliminates the loss of time associated with the transfer of materials- two major factors previously undermining productivity at each factory, leading to a substantial improvement in the operating rate of production lines.
